Aditiya Mohila Unnayan Somity (AMUS) has been working for the improvement of social, economic, educational and cultural status of men, women and children with disabilities of the country. Since its inception, it has been providing various supports to the persons with disabilities for their empowerment.

Aditiya Mohila Unnayan Somity (AMUS)believes in the service of human beings for their total (Socio-economic, Cultural, Education, Political and Spiritual) development.

Therefore, it gives priority to the Disabilities, poor, oppressed, marginalized and deprived group of people of the society for their advancement so to establish their human dignity, values and social justice in the community of rural Bangladesh. Aditiya Mohila Unnayan Somity (AMUS) mission is to contribute towards achieving and ultimate development of the person with disabilities and their participation in the development activities through capacity-building, the advocacy, lobbying and campaign. AMUS envisions that rights, dignity and equal participation of persons with Disabilities are ensured in the community.

I am very grateful to my executive committees who have extended their very cooperation for the success of our activities. I thank all of our general members, without their spontaneous cooperation it was impossible to establish such a development organization for benefiting the poor at large. I also thank some well-wishers who have extended their cooperation by financial support and suggestions.
